Aah this is a perfect recipe! How far in advance do you think a person could make the (non-whipped-cream) components? Will they survive a few days in the fridge?

Definitely the jam can be made days ahead and kept in the fridge. The meringue and chocolate should be made,combined, and poured into the pie shell all at once. The chocolate is the stability and you want it in the shell when it firms up! Hope this helps
